Piñatas

Piñatas can be used as colorful decorations and as a party game that can keep children busy for up to 30 minutes.All our piñatas are sold “empty”, that means you have to buy the sweets and/or small toys to fill your piñata. We import our piñatas in big quantities and they can be in the manufacturer’s warehouse, or in our store for up to 24 months.We want you to know that the sweets that goes into your piñata are fresh and not
past their “expire by date”.

If you buy a filled piñata from another supplier we suggest that you check before hand what is in the piñata and when it has been filled.

How do you play the piñata game?

First you need to put some sweets and/or small toys into the piñata at a specially marked or indicated hole in the piñata.Hang the piñata on a strong rope, such as a nylon ski rope, above the heads of the children playing the game. The rope goes over a tree branch or roof beam.An adult should hold the loose end of the rope and lower and raise the piñata by pulling and slacking on the rope.Each player gets 3 strikes at the piñata with a piñata stick.
Finally somebody, preferable the birthday child will hit the piñata and the sweets will fall out.Adult supervision can ensure “crowd controlling” and the children pick up the sweets and/or toys and put it on the table. The game continues until the piñata is destroyed and all the sweets and treats are out. Adult share the sweets amongst the kid’s.Older kids can be blindfolded to make the game more interesting.Children without the piñata bat in hand should form a large enough circle around the piñata and “striker” so as to avoid possible injuries.

For smaller children, 4 years and younger, we recommend one of our “pull piñatas”. Pull piñatas have a number of colorful ribbons attached to the underside. One of these ribbons opens a “trap door” to allow the contents to fall out.PLEASE NOTE: We do not manufacture the piñatas, we import them from manufacturers that have been in the business for years. They know what they do and unlike some locally made piñatas that either don’t break or only break with the greatest of efforts, our piñatas are the real thing and break when they are suppose to break


We probable have the largest variety of different shapes and themed piñatas in the country.We do not make “custom” piñatas and they are also not available from our suppliers.As we import piñatas in bulk we cannot get “one of a kind” piñatas or piñatas that have specially made for your theme.Check with us for the piñata that you have in mind, but be prepared for maybe one or two other ideas or options.
